With the rise in catalytic converter theft, we at DMG AUTOCARE LTD have been working hard to offer motorists a way of protecting their catalytic converters. Working closely with some specialist companies we are able to offer some of the best forms of protection for your catalytic converter.

We have model specific locks that fit directly around your catalytic converter as well as steel plated shields that can be fitted to the underside of the car to prevent easy access for thieves. The majority of our protection is approved by UK Police Forces with the registration onto the international ISR database making these catalytic converters traceable back to the original owner as well as helping convict the thieves if caught in possession with a marked catalytic converter.   

We also have stickers that are fitted in the car windows which act as another deterrent to potential thieves. No protection will stop thefts 100% but this is the most effective way of protecting your vehicle. We will also be happy to offer any advice on the small things that can be done to help, as in CCTV, parking positions etc. The average cost of repairs after a catalytic converter theft is between £500-£1000 with some BMW’s costing up to £3500, it’s definitely worth protecting. Protection is available from £99+VAT depending on the make and model of your vehicle.
