We offer an Air Con Regas service using the latest equipment and up to date machines for both R134a and R1234yf gases. R134a is more common in vehicles manufactured before 2014. R1234yf is found in most vehicles manufactured from 2017.  

*Vehicles manufactured between 2014-2016 could require either gas.   

Air con is not just for summer months, it should be used all year round. It keeps you cool in the summer and helps demist your windscreen much quicker than regular blowers in the winter. In an air con regas we automatically use UV tracer dye to assist on finding any potential or future leaks. We can also use our nitrogen leak test kit to help diagnose leaks in the system.  

It is recommended you regas your air con every 2 years. Air con systems loose approximately 10% of refrigerant per year. Even if your air con system is icy cold you may get an unpleasant musty smell when using it. This is caused by a build-up of bacteria in the system. In this case we would change the pollen filter then use anti-bacterial products to neutralise the bacteria and create a much nicer smell in your car.
